Fuerteventura Hospital - New Radiotherapy Unit.

From Fuertextra Newspaper:

"Fuerteventura Hospital is to have a new Radiation Therapy Facility, expected to be finished by 2020.
The 5000 m2 unit will be on 3 floors and is expected to cost around 10 million euros".

Up until now, Residents of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote ( including me ) have had to travel to Las Palmas in Gran Canaria for up to 7 weeks of Cancer Treatment, plus on-going treatment for the next 5 years in some cases, and also in some cases, incurring much expense to the patient.
