After finding confusing and conflicting results online can anyone tell me the licence requirements for riding a 125cc scooter in Fuerteventura, I am currently riding one on a CBT in the UK and relocating to Fuerteventura this year and wondering if it will be ok to ride it on a UK car driving licence if I bring my scooter over.
I thought the CBT was a training course before riding and passing a test.
Quote from DVLA
After you’ve completed CBT, you can ride a:

moped if you’re 16 or over
motorcycle up to 125cc and with a power output of up to 11kW if you’re 17 or over

You must use L plates (L or D plates in Wales).

You must pass your full moped or motorcycle test within 2 years, or you have to either take CBT again or stop riding.
So if only a learner I dont know

I know the rules for the UK, but I'm talking about riding it in Fuerteventura.

IMHO When the EH has finished with all the smoke and mirrors, and a deal is done as it will be, the £ will settle in a range between €1.20 and €1.25 which is its true value, we were very lucky when we moved money here originally in 2015 we got €1.42, but I do not think we will ever see that again, unless some other country either needs a bailout or decides to follow the UK out of the door { Greece, Italy Spain????

Just finished one. Happy to pass it on.

Malabu`s right, `O Dear` indeed .Nevertheless to set the financial issues right..1.44 was a one off, entirely due to the issues being played out in Greece, at that time.It was unsustainable and was badly hurting British industry and our exports. True it was a windfall for tourists but that was about it and it was never ever going to be the benchmark  :-*

Within a short space of time the pound Euro level settled down around the 1.25 to 1.30 range, as the OP well knows. It is therefore down about 10 to 12% over what normally would be the average tourist exchange rate. This is well within the parameters of normal currency shifts.

What I do find strange is why people start threads purely for the purpose of running their country down..Still the attraction of sun and cheap booze can`t last for ever :'(
What about the Rates of  1.70 and 1.60 we have had in the past. The Uk is an Import nation not an Export one so the rate damages the Uk economy and is the reason we have zero wage growth and are raising the state retirement age to a level where everyone will be dead before they can benefit from it. Open your eyes and smell the coffee.
