Friend just asked me, do you need a license to clean private pools? I haven't a clue so I said I would put it to you people

No, you don't! A bit surprising when you come to think of it, because you tend to need a stamped bit of paper for most things here...!

The question is a bit ambiguous.  If you mean, cleaning private pools as a business then maybe you need to be registered as self-employed and pay the "autonomo" monthly contributions.  ??? Just a thought.

I would have thought besides a licence Public Liabity Insurance is essential given that potentially dangerous chemicals are being used, albeit in small amounts, but accidents do happen.
