OK, next time I will not buy a property with terraces that face South, East, and West ???Having said that it was possibly not a gale: :) but it was pretty strong circa 16/18 Mph, but it has calmed now and Temp is 24 C.

I know it is not weather but for those who asked my court summons this morning went well and hopefully it is the end of the matter as far as I am concerned.  The court summons turned out to mean attend one of the court offices in PDR to re affirm that the statement I had given the police in September was a true statement that could be used in court when the 4 villains are tried.  One of them is in Lanzarote  jail and the other 3 are I believe on bail.  It turns out that they are responsible for robberies going back 2 or 3 years  so the police are going all out to get them to trial and jailed.

The court office arranged a translator for me at their expense, she was very good and explained everything for me in full and as she had been present when one of the other victims / witnesses had to go in and swear his statement she was conversant with the case.

All straight forward and not as traumatic as I thought it would be.

Quite a chilly day with a strong breeze from the E or SE or S, both in Tindaya & Puerto. No cloud around but very, very hazy both inland and out to sea.

Couldn't actually 'see' the sea:

Betancuria Massive should be in the distance here:

Even Mta Tindaya seemed hazy, just a short distance away:

The haze cleared slightly around sunset, enough to reveal some clouds!:

El Cotillo... Some patchy cloud first thing, which should burn off as the day progresses. A fresh ESE offshore wind, possibly reaching 21mph. Temperatures expected in the high teens.

Tides:
2:46 AM      2.57 meters   (8.43 ft)   High Tide
7:07 AM            First Light
7:34 AM            Sunrise
9:05 AM      -0.04 meters   (-0.13 ft)   Low Tide
10:18 AM            Moonset
3:16 PM      2.34 meters   (7.68 ft)   High Tide
5:58 PM            Sunset
6:25 PM            Last Light
9:19 PM            Moonrise
9:21 PM      0.14 meters   (0.46 ft)   Low Tide

7.30am. Slight breeze, feeling fresh at 16°C. No condensation, some cloud, calm sea.

The observation yesterday by Tamara, "No cloud around but very, very hazy both inland and out to sea" was probably due to Calima that is with us at the moment.

El Cotillo...

10.30am. Rather than the cloud burning off, it looks like it's rolling in! Breezy and 20°C.

Morning from Caleta where at 6.30 it was 15c with a little condensation, lighter breeze than the last few days and some scattered white clouds that now seem to be clearing at 7.30.

Yesterday was much as forecast, so they got it right again.

Todays forecast -
Scattered cloud most of the day a potential clear hour about 3pm temperatures forecast to reach 22c between noon and 2pm and UV level of up to 4 at noon.
Wind ENE to NE 13KM/h to 15Km/h during the day and getting up to 20Km/h at 9pm

On the whole another nice day in store compared to the snow back in the UK, off to golf in the Children's Christmas Charity Comp at Las Salinas.

From our walk yesterday

Last nights sunset

Another gorgeous day in the sun although chilly in the shade/light breeze. Some high white cloud during the day and some more menacing stuff arrived at teatime but didn't result in any rain.
