Difficult to say without knowing your setup here. You will obviously need a reasonable internet connection which has vastly improved here in recent times, but, still isn't as widely available as UK/IRL. Assuming you can get internet, a 'stupid' TV connected to an an android box / PC  running Kodi or one of the many local subscription  boxes will get you all the TV you need . As internet TV is changing rapidly, and at the mercy of ever increasing attempts to restrict it's global use,  it's probably not worth tying yourself down to software developed by the company who produced your TV.  A modern UK TV will work here, but prices are not greatly different in Spain (at recent exchange rates) and you will have a local guarantee should you need it.

We bought a smart TV from the out of town (PDR) Electron where they have as big a selection as any Curry's -PC World store in the UK at very comparable prices even with the current lower exchange rate and as djk says you then get the 2 year Spanish guarantee rather than the UK 1 year which might be invalid if you ship the item overseas.
