We're in Jandia mid November and wondered about the potential loss of sand off the beaches.

Noticed last year sand loss at El Salmo and Mal Nombre - any updates from recent visitors?

We were there in late September.  Went to Mal Nombre on our first day, as my wife likes to rent a sunbed.  The beach, which was gloriously sandy last year, was a mass of black rocks and virtually deserted, we left!  El Salmo was very similar, although with a small patch of nice sand just north of the car park.  Sotavento was virtually identical to last year - lovely soft sand, gentle slope in to the sea, lots of happy naturists.

Esquinzo was in the best state that I have ever seen it. Two years ago, it was like Armageddon, & was blasted back to bedrock.
