Sweet Dreams

We will be in Fuereteventura on the 14th March , hope the weather has improved for naked days on the beach/dunes! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Lee@Joyce

We were there the same time last year in Corealejo it was a bit windy but nice and hot during the day the evening was cooler requiring a fleece and the last night it rained cats and dogs.
You should catch the festival and parades which were fantastic culminating with fireworks on the beach in Corealejo.
Have fun

The weather will be great. We arrive on the 13th for 2 weeks and the sun shines on the righteous

Sweet Dreams

Thank you all for replies  :-*, Hi,lee @Joyce we were also there last March and as you have stated during the day was great but at night very cold must have been there at the same time as we also remember the last night it was raining when we came out the bars and never seen so many locals with fleeces on in the bars! :o :o but like helsbelles  we are usually very lucky with the weather but the winter has not been good this year so hoping it does shine on the righteous ! we are also over for the fortnight so anyone like to meet for a drink on the beach or at night in Corralejo would be great to have some company. :-* :-* :-*

Does anyone know when festival and fireworks are? We arrive on the 18th for a week

Sweet Dreams

We think its the 13th-22nd and theme is Arabian , we have been the last few years and always enjoyed  :-* :-*

mickboy

I presume everything is well advertised

As sweet Dreams said the carnival dates are 13th - 22nd.

The main parade is on the 21st at 18:30 and the burning of the sardine followed by the fireworks is on the 22nd from about 19:00, but the timings are flexible and in all likelihood everything will be running a bit late. We were in Corralejo for the carnival last year and although there was posters around the area, the publicity was nowhere near as good as it could have been.

Sweet Dreams

Getting back on the subject ,last year it was freezing for the carnival parade ,so let's all hope its a bit warmer at night ! 8) 8) we are just so looking forward to nice warm beach days and hopefully not very windy ,we don't mind the wind in June and September to cool down but in March  spoils our naked walks! :o :o :o :o :o

I have to agree - cool weather forces a walk of nature to be unnatural. So while from April on is quite pleasant, may I suggest avoiding the Christian holiday of Easter - too many youngsters and families. Very load, not very accommodating.
Biking and beaches - total freedom
