I went down the Bingley 3 rise and 5 rise earlier in the Summer on a friend's boat. They have volunteer lock keepers on so it's relatively easy.

After being closed since July they are opening up for a 2 week period to allow boats to get to where they want to.

We are staying in the Skipton area until next year.

Skipton is a place we go quite often. Have you done the castle walk yet?

Yes., and up through Skipton Woods. Skipton is very popular - there's always lots of visitors.
