The lovely resort of Corralejo is in the north of the island of Fuerteventura so is a little cooler than the islands resort which are located in the south! Although still warm!

Fuerteventura is known to be ideal for watersports enthusiasts, Especially Corralejo and surronding the resort. Because of the "trade winds" that blow off the Atlantic. The intervention of these winds across the Canary Islands result in stable temperatures throughout the year.

Fuerteventura weather, similar to all of the islands in the archipelago of the Canaries has an all year round climate. With the West African coast with its dry and hot climate is close by, even though this is the case Fuertventura - as do the rest of the Canary Islands experience a 'Spring like' temperature throughout the year.

Fuerteventura has very little rainfall, unlike the rest of the Canary islands. Whilst tourists find this good, a lot of the locals can find it restrictive, especially the ones that are trying to grow crops for a living and increase economic development.

The average daytime temperature in Fuerteventura remains constant at around 20C all year round, which obviously is a huge attraction for the holiday makers! The water temperature ranges between 17C and 23C, the coldest time being January and February and the hottest August and September, so windsurfing newcomers are advised to visit the island during the middle of the year!

Fuerteventura Temperatures

Annual Average Temperatures (in Centigrade) for Fuerteventura are: January - 21, February 21, March - 22, April - 23, May - 24, June - 26, July - 27, August - 28, September - 27, October - 26, November - 24, December - 22.

Annual Average Sea Temperatures (in Centigrade) for Fuerteventura are: January - 19, February - 18, March - 19, April - 20, May - 20, June - 21, July - 22, August - 22, September - 22, October - 21, November - 21, December 20.
I hope information is useful![:)]

I recommend that you try to stay in Costa Calma or Jandia/ Morro Jable because of the quick entry to excellent beaches and wish front a little wind flow.

the distance is according to where you are staying, we stay at Atlantic Gardens, and walk to the dunes where the naturist beach is, takes us about 15 mins to get there.
