Betancuria - Santa Maria Cafeteria + Map

This café is a really peaceful and cool oasis on a hot day trip to Betancuria.

Under the shade of its trees and amidst a riot of colourful flowers, the owner serves welcome draught beer, delicious local goats cheese snacks, and by far the best apple pie on the island (if not anywhere!).

I have no connection to the café, just a very satisfied customer. We always make a point of stopping here when touring the area in our hire car.  The café is quite small so it does get full quickly when the coach parties stop in the village.
