Tindaya - Playa Jaruga. 4-5pm. Sand had shifted, covering a rock bed that is very uneven and jagged, and allowed access to an area I can't normally explore, loads of interesting rocks/formations and pools with fish in them.

Weatherwise a lovely day, full on sunshine although a little hazy, nice and hot, very slight breeze from the west during the day, changed to easterly and got stronger around teatime.

El Cotillo 6pm
As the day comes to an end so does my holiday

Yesterday at the lighthouse beach

Just like to thank Martin & Jane for taking me to the kite festival at Corralejo.
It was hard to choose from all the kites but this one was probably my favourite

That’s it for another year. I’ve booked for next, it will give me something to look forward to during the cold Winter months back in the UK

Morning in Tindaya, sunny with quite a bit of cloud, very light cool breeze, sea looked blue for a change! Ship on horizon is Armas ferry from Arrecife to Las Palmas.

Teatime dog walk threw up some interesting finds. An abandoned well/reservoir halfway up a hill in the middle of nowhere. The loose dirt contained quite a few seashells, evidence this area was once the seabed.
On the next hill I went past a goat farm that I knew about (I can see it in the distance from my kitchen window), what I hadn't realised was there were also cows, calves, pigs and ................. llamas!

The light changed quite dramatically while I was walking, the view looking back up a lane looked as if could be a cornfield, not just stones.

And then, Armageddon! I turned back and saw Mta Tindaya behind me looking quite amazing against the angry sky. I raced for home expecting a deluge but all that fell were 2 or 3 spots.
