Tindaya - daylight started and ended blue but was diabolical in between! Heavy showers started during the night and continued on and off throughout the day. A few rumbles of thunder. Lightning seen out to the west dusk/early evening. Mta Tindaya looked amazing at one point when the rock faces were all wet and shining. Felt sorry for the guys installing solar panels on a nearby roof today!
Temp down to 9.5C by 11pm and still having a few showers. No wind.

Now down to 8C (at 12:50)

Caleta.

Yesterday, not a great day, quotes from two colleagues probably summed it up well MLA " In reality, brief breaks between long showers." and Tamara " diabolical"

temp did not get above 17 C we had thunder around 15:00, then there was a brief respite

16:30

Temp was then 16 C after sunset Temp dropped quickly to 15 C, and by 11:00 was down to 14, add in the wind factor and it felt like 10C.

Today.

It started raining again around 02:30 but had stopped again by 05:00

07:15

Temp 14 C wind N/Westerly 6/85 Mph.

08;00

Temp. 14 C.

Wind. N/westerly 6/8 Mph.

Humidity. 57%.

Visibility. Fair.

sea. a 5/6 Ft swell, but surprisingly calm.

UV. 5.

Forecast

A bright sunny if not a warm day, Temp to be in mid-teens, the wind will move Northerly late morning and increase slightly 11/13 Mph before moving N/Easterly early evening and strengthening again 16/18 Mph. a slight chance of the odd shower, through the day, most likely late morning to early afternoon.

I was in Corralejo most of the day - unfortunately - as the weather was pretty dire, lots of showers, some quite heavy, and hail.
the next 2 pics were taken about 15 mins apart!:

a rainbow as I was leaving Corralejo and another soon after I got back to Tindaya:

full moon made an early evening appearance while the storms continued out at sea:

Temp now 10C.

Caleta

A quick update this morning, as I have to be at the Airport for 08:15 then on to Antigua.

Yesterday, again very much as forecast, it did make a halfhearted attempt to rain around 12:00 and again around 14;00, but it came to nothing, Temp maxed out at 18 C and by 21:00 was doWn to 11 C.

Today

A grey calm start.

Temp. 15 C

Wind. Westerly 5/7 Mph.

Visibility. very Good.

Humidity. 71%

Sea. a 4 Ft swell.

UV. 4

Forecast

A day of cloud and sunshine, Temp might reach 19/20 C, wind to move N/westerly mid-morning before moving Northerly late afternoon/early evening, strengthening as the day goes on 14/16 Mph, the possibility of rain is currently  6% but will increase to 25% by mid-afternoon.

I will possibly  add images later.

Antigua

09:15

Looking West

North

East

Photographs were taken just after a horrendous downpour that lasted for 3/4 Minutes, then cleared away, but 5 mins later on the way back to Caleta it started again more a heavy shower this time, which when I arrived back in Caleta it did not appear to  have rained there, but it started raining around 10:30, and has rained on and off all day since, it has currently stopped and it appears to be reasonably sunny, temp still only 17 C.
