Went yesterday for our last lunch in the sun. The big white building that has been renovated into a hotel with blue window frames and beautiful flower boxes on the front.

So sorry we didn't go before the food was fantastic and the girl serving was brilliant.

We only had something simple, a hamburger special and a chicken breast but the flavours from both were great. The hamburger is homemade and had hand cut chips plus caramelised onions delicious!

A lot of people came in after us and all picked the burgers.

The girl could be a Spanish teacher she encouraged a room full of Brits to speak Spanish and encouraged everyone even when they got it wrong.

Wish we had gone there for an evening meal before we left. It is not expensive but was worth every penny. Beautifully decorated room with great views of the harbour. Worth a visit.

Yep, Rompeolas is definitely one of favourites at the moment!
Just remember if you go in the evening you will probably have to book!

Sounds great. Where about is it please.

Down the Main streets to the Shell Petrol station, turn right to go down to the harbour and it's the blue and white building on  the right.

Use to be the Corralejo Hotel, great venue, been going two or three times during our stay for the last two years, alway's booked a table, do not book for outside if you do not smoke made that mistake last year.

We have a least one meal there every visit and have booked in at the Avanti for a week for next time.
I'll try to remember to do a hotel post when I get back.
It will be quite a contrast to the old Corralejo Hotel which was a bit of a fleapit in its latter days.

Our favourite too.....but it was closed for holidays last time we were over....how DARE they? Even worse the Ugly Duckling was closed as well because they were building an outside terrace. Our visit just wasn't the same :( :( :(
