Tindaya - Wednesday was the best day of the year so far, thought summer had arrived! Not a cloud in the sky all day. Today, Thursday, it's been back to solid grey cloud cover and strong cold easterly winds. The wind eased right off in the early evening and then around midnight we had noisy gales from the South for about an hour. Still Southerly now but a lot gentler thank goodness.
am dog walk:

pm dog walk, included the only real hint the sun existed all day, just as it was due to set:

Well yesterdays forecast was not correct in that we had grey cloud cover all day, temperature did touch 20c at one point in the usual sheltered spot, breeze in the morning and quite a chilling windy afternoon and evening.

Currently 15c with no wind and no dew / condensation, sky looks dark and cloudy.

Todays forecast -

Cloud to reduce and become mostly sunny by 11am to 4pm and cloud to clear by 5pm to leave a lovely sunny evening temperature to get up to 20c feeling like 21c with a UV factor of up to 5 11am to 2pm.
Wind 2 to 7Km/h from NW / N until 9am then moving NE to ENE increasing to 13 / 15Km/h for rest of the day.

Tides
Low tide   05:33h  0.8 m
High tide  11:39h  1.8 m
Low tide   17:46h  0.7 m
High tide  23:56h  2.0 m

Sun Rise 07.34hrs - Sunset 18.44hrs

Tinadaya - a lovely day of sunshine but still a brisk cold easterly wind. The wind has eased this evening, so much so that I can hear the surf crashing against the cliffs about 2km away really clearly.

In this pic, just to the right of the telegraph pole, GC was visible around sunset, quite clearly:

I was privileged to watch the birth of a kid goat this afternoon. After Mum had finished giving it a good lick and it's first suckle all the other goats came over and had a quick sniff to familiarise/say hi!  ;D (Mum is the tan coloured one in the middle of the pic, kid is fawn/grey with black feet.)

Tindaya - a gorgeous start with a clear blue sky and no wind but by mid-morning the cloud was on it's way in. No breeze to speak of all day and evening but how it didn't rain I don't know, the clouds were really thick, dark and low all afternoon. Barometer dropped right away. I see on the forecast we are due rain over the next few days and wind from the South and SouthWest, very strong at times. Don't recommend getting the BBQs out over the weekend!
