Hi GF - Love the video, thanks for sharing the link. I'll be passing the link on to the owner of the Tindaya windmill, I'm sure he'd love to see it. Is it too late to change the spelling of Tindaya in the video, think you have a typo?
Shame about your SD card though, good excuse to come and try again!

Tindaya - a very mixed day, changing quickly between blue skies with quite a bit of white cloud to solid grey cloud cover and back again and again...... Breeze from NW and not as strong as forecast most of the time. I didn't get down to the coast but I could see breakers this morning from where we are inland which is most unusual, and a lot of drifting spray.

Caleta - yesterday was better thank forecast, we were out and about for lunch and the afternoon very nice very hot in the sun with no wind down at Giniginamar.  It got quite cool quickly once the sun went down last night.  Lunch at Mirador de Sotavento - highly recommended - https://www.google.es/maps/place/Mirador+de+Sotavento/@28.1801737,-14.1630628,16.23z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0xc479b95e25402e9:0xf9f50bbb27f5ba59!8m2!3d28.1805364!4d-14.1708063?hl=en

This morning at 6.45 a mainly clear sky 15c and no wind and strangely no condensation.  The camera makes the picture  up the mount appear much lighter than it was.

Todays Caleta forecast -
Partly / mostly sunny all day temperature to reach 23C at 2pm UV to reach 7 at midday
Wind from NW this morning moving N at lunchtime for the rest of the day currently 7Km/h increasing during the morning to 24Km/h by 2pm easing slightly during the evening.

Tindaya - a gorgeous day of sunshine, hot when out of the brisk Northerly breeze, chilly in shady breeze. A quick trip to the nearest coast this afternoon, and a paddle (water was pleasantly warm - if it was safe to swim at Tindaya I would have gone in).

9:30am:

3.30-4.30pm:

Looking back after we left the beach you could see a big drift of spray being blown inland - no wonder our windows get so salty!

6.45pm:

As we got back to the village around 4.30-5pm it appeared there had been an incident - helicopter, fire engine, ambulance, Guardia Civil, Policia Locale all in attendance. No idea what had happened but the helicopter flew off towards Gran Canaria - hope everyone involved is ok.

Corralejo and Tindaya - as reports from others have said the day started solidly grey but cleared by mid morning to give a glorious day of blue skies and little or no wind. A lot of cloud moved in during late afternoon but the skies were clear again when I looked out just now - plenty of stars to be seen.

where is the sea?

where is Mta Tindaya?

6.30pm facing NW

6.30pm facing W

6.30pm facing SW, still plenty of showers out there!
