Airbus
« on: June 23, 2018, 08:49:01 am »
So now we may have Airbus leaving the UK if we do not extend the transition period for Brexit, where  will it end, maybe some of these company’s are using it to benefit there company’s with further grants, tax breaks etc, either way it’s not good for the uk.

Don’t think we should be scared but sure should be aware of what could be the norm for the future, but having said that we have stood alone before and recovered  so why not again, and as people keep saying Europe does need the UK not the other way round, not sure about that but time will tell.

French engineering firm Colas is ready to invest billions in Brexit Britain.. Director Carl Fergusson said " We are not talking about millions we are talking about billions"

For every negative there's a positive. Just depends who's saying it.

I’m not in the habit of repeating myself but:::

Look at it this way, in the next year or less the U.K. government will collapse.
After a very nasty election campaign no party will have an overall majority but the Tories and labour will cobble some sort of arrangement not a coalition but an arrangement together, if for no other reason but to keep the far left and far right out. Normal people will become paranoid. (This may have already begun)
Government as you now know it will be impossible. The divides in society will be many and the blame will be left squarely at the door of the Brexiters.
Politicians will keep speaking about the will of the people.
Somewhere along the line a new referendum will be held and the remainers will win convincingly
The prodigal son will then be ready to return to the EU. But will a welcome await?
Blame anyone or anything you like but the mess and it is a mess the U.K. is now in is totally of your own making and absolutely no end in sight.
Good luck for the future.

Total rubbish spewed out by someone who has no idea what post Brexit will bring.

I'm not in the habit of repeating myself but.... if George Osborne was clueless I'm inclined to think you probably are too.  ;)

Well please share with us your expert opinion of what the mess Brexit will bring.
Or have you the slightest idea.
What has George Osborne  got to do with me ? He’s one of your country men I do believe.

It's not what Osborne has to do with you...it's what Osborne has to do with your statement about post Brexit Britain. Both doom and gloom and both without foundation.

I can't share my opinion about a Brexit mess because the truth is I don't know any more than you do. All I DO know is we voted to leave and the future looks brighter to me outside the EU than within it. I also believe the EU is a goner, when I don't know either, but a goner it will be, sooner or later. UK would do well to get out now before the rats start swimming for safety from the sinking ship.

Europe does need the UK not the other way round

right so what happens if the EU try and remove jobs etc from UK ?

do you think we will just sit back and do nothing about it?

or do you think we would start our own efforts in repaying the favour ?

Nice crowd in London for the anti Brexit march yesterday, the pro Brexit one didn’t get as many just a few skinheads with the butchers apron tied around them were all I seen. Admittedly that was sky news I seen it on but much the same on BBC news.

EU isn't tying to remove jobs from the UK !
The jobs just disappear because there is no more future in GB

That sort of statement from that sort of person has been flying about since the referendum. And that's all it is... a statement, not of fact but opinion.

And a rather biased one at that.

And as we speak they are still queuing up to get into Britain. It's the place to be for employment opportunities and away from a crumbling EU..they know it and we know it.  :-*

And further to the opening post I have been told that Airbus which campaigned for Remain, threatened to leave Britain once before..if we did not join the Euro.

We didn't.. and they didn't.

isnt it funny how dagwood and erik both hate UK but are worried to death that we leave EU . . . . . . . . . . .

that kinda proves they need us more than we need them.

and they know it.

You don't need to keep binning them individually, Ivemovedon, I have ignored four posters on the forum and it is a transformation. I really enjoy it now, unlike previously. Highly recommended. And I won't see any stupid responses to this post either.

Viva's nailed it. You ARE worried.... You are scared of going down with the Titanic while the UK sails off in a life boat.  ;)
