Caleta yesterday not quite as good as forecast with the cloud never completely clearing, on the whole a very pleasant day with temps in our little sheltered spot getting to the high 30'sC.

This morning at 6.50 it was only 16C, the lowest it has been this trip, some condensation, little or no wind and only a few clouds to the east.
6.50am

7.25am

Todays Caleta forecast -

Cloud cover to increase during the morning to give an average of 40% cover for the rest of the day, temperatures mid to high 20'sC with a UV factor of up to 12 at 1pm.  The wind from the NW this morning moving NE this afternoon / evening with speeds increasing from current 7mph to 15mph late in the afternoon.

Tindaya - mainly sunny but still a lot of cloud around. Light breeze this morning and several odd bits of drizzle that didn't come to much. Late morning was gorgeous but then the cloud started building again and after Spain crashed out of the football we had a quick shower.

Yesterday in Caleta a pleasant hazy day with a few light clouds, a Calima I think? the wind was a dominating factor during the afternoon and evening.

This morning at 7.30 grey and over cast very windy temperature in our south facing sheltered spot 20C but in the wind feels much cooler.

Todays Caleta forecast -

The cloud with reduce during the morning and early afternoon to leave a clear sky by 3pm for the rest of the day.  Temperatures mid 20'sC with the usual UV factor of up to 12 at 1pm.  Wind will be the dominating factor from the NNE / NE 21 to 23mph all day

Wind has been the dominating factor since late morning and the dust, sand and grit that everywhere is the tell tale sign, 😢😢😢 cleaning up to be done.  It looks set to continue tomorrow.

This morning at 8am still windy 15mph?, sunny but hazy 19C

Todays Caleta forecast -

What cloud there is to clear by 10am to leave a sunny day but I suspect it will remain hazy, temperatures in mid to high 20'sC with UV factor of 12 at 1pm.  Windy from N / NE increasing from current 15mph to 20mph mid morning and later this afternoon 23mph.

Yesterday much as forecast wind still strong and dominating, went to Happy Plants in Tefir where it seemed to be protected by the mountains so it was warm and muggy at the garden centre.

This morning at 7.45am the wind is still quite strong and there is plenty of grey cloud and 19C out of the wind.

Todays Caleta forecast -
Cloud to reduce during the morning / early afternoon to leave a clear sky from 3pm for the rest of the day, temperatures in the mid 20'sC but I suspect it will feel much cooler in the strong winds again, UV factor of up to 12 at 1pm again.  Wind as mentioned already to dominate from the NE at 22 to 24mph this morning and afternoon easing slightly evening down to 17mph by 10pm.

By the way the wind is forecast to be in the high teens low 20's mph for Saturday & Sunday

Pictures later.

It gets like that sometimes John, then as Martin reminded Me once, look at how many people read the reports and it then seems worth the effort.

Morning for Caleta, I am feeling lonely 😢😢😢 here on the weather thread where is TamaraEnLaPlaya?

Hi WMG and all. Mix of being very busy/tired, football fever, and such poor visibility that pics were worthless, has stopped me posting on the Weather for a few days. I will try harder, promise.
Just read online that the authorities are going to tarmac some of our dirt track roads in Tindaya starting in the next few days so that's going to smell nice in the lovely temps we're having now. Windows shut to keep out smell or open to allow air flow? Hmmm. Should reduce some of the dust we get coming indoors in the longer term though, calima or normal winds. Thinking about it has made me realise just how bad it must have been/still is for people living in La Capellania - years of noise, dust and smell from the new roads.
Thanks to everyone who has been posting - I have been reading every few days!
