Well well

British Airways has notified the police after the theft of customer data from its website and mobile app.

The airline said the personal and financial details of customers who made bookings on its website or app from 10.58pm on August 21 until 9.45pm on September 5 had been compromised.

Around 380,000 payment cards were compromised.

and unlike ryannair they didnt try and hide the fact by not abiding by the law and notifying the markets of a hack ;)

this isthe difference, honest companies tell the truth, dishonest companies screw their staff over, mug their customers, ruin their customers holidays then spit in their faces after the event.

well done for supporting the nasty guys ;)

BA must have a very low level of security on their website and app.
I’d hate to trust my personal details to this lot. 380,000 people details in 15 days. The hackers hit the jackpot. Probably hacked by a pimple faced kid in a bedroom somewhere. Probably hack their flight systems next.

$5 million of Ryanair’s own money, not customers money, was taken and lodged in a Chinese bank.
This was back in 2015. It was part of an invoicing scam that was happening at the time. It also happened a county council. The Chinese account  was frozen and the money returned after a short time in both cases.
As a matter of fact there was a large police operation involving Irish police and police forces from several other countries took place today for a similar scam.
There were  a number of people originally from West African countries arrested.
By the way they (BA) had no choice because under EU data protection laws they were obliged to report this serious breach of security involving 380,000 people’s bank/credit card details. I wonder what would have happened if no such laws were in place?

look everyone who frequents this place knows and understands why you blatantly back ryannair without even thinking about it, so why not be a bit calculated with your posts ?

we get it

you have shares and want them to make you money

we dont give a toss about ryannair cos they treat their customers like the scum of the earth, and yeah, you might be used to that in everyday life but we are not.

I was just answering a couple of queries you made. But then of course  your not ready for any kind of answer that questions your silly blinkered outlook on life. Sorry for making the answer too complicated. I see now your a tabloid junkie and just look at the pictures.
