That's from the BBC. The Tory run lies machine. You might as well bin that load of nonsense and have a word with the kids on the Zero hour contracts and the minimum wage trying to scrape a life together. Bring back the 70s/80s.

Tory run lies machine. ?. You have been living away too long. It's a leftist Labour controlled organization from top to bottom.

And now the good news to lighten the early morning doom mongers report.

The government has struck a deal with the mobile phone giants to continue free call roaming across Europe post brexit. Happy days..

EU boss Juncker has hinted a free trade deal agreement is the best way forward.

Meanwhile all is not well in the ranks of the EU states. Sanctions are being considered against Hungary accusing them of migrant abuse, press control, corruption, illegal surveillance and misogyny.

Just a small question. If that's the case why were they even considered for membership of the EU in the first place ?.  ;)

You could ask the same question about Greece, they met none of the criteria for membership, but that was ignored, and we all know where that led. and I do not think the Greek saga has ended yet.

You are right the Greek saga has not ended yet. And the Italian one is only just starting. I think the Germans are also waking up to the fact they've been sold an EU dummy.

Uk isn't the only one with it's problems,  although you wouldn't think so sometimes.

ashworth, i understand you are clearly hard of thinking but do you think say a american cannot drive in europe ?

are you that dumb you believe they cannot ?

and if they did try and force us as the only country in the world that cannot drive in EU with a UK licence (but nobody can stop you driving on a international licence i might add) do you think we would allow them to drive here on their EU licence ?

and with mobile phones it is a entire different issue agreed between each company and NOT the government, this just proves you know nothing and belive the number two they try and scare you with.

A so called international licence is NOT a licence. (and your own words: "this proves you know nothing")

Viva Ignore the inconsequential moron, it is called an International Driving Permit

An international driving permit (IDP), also called an international driving license (IDL), is any valid, required by law identity document that allows the holder to drive a private motor vehicle in any country or jurisdiction that recognises IDPs. To be valid, the IDP must be accompanied by a valid driving licence issued in the holder's country of citizenship

Now who's the moron? Go back to filling shelves.

Who cares what its called. They wont be stopping anyone from driving in Europe. Too much money to be lost. Nor will we stop anyone driving in Britain.
Same tedious old duds looking to put the brexit boot in on the UK.

International treaties give us a bedrock on a lot of things. The WTO gives us a backstop for the worst possible trading relationship, the Chicago Convention on Civil Aviation gives us a backstop for the worst possible aviation relationship. UN and ECHR treaties give us a backstop on many issues in relation to law and human rights. (Under international law, contracts survive a change in the legal framework under which they were originally made — the “acquired rights” doctrine).

The key issue is what aspects of our current relationship with the EU are preserved by international treaties? I find it shocking that, particularly among some of the noisiest anti-Brexit campaigners, so few people devote serious effort to understand and answer to this question. Possibly because they’re embarrassed they don’t know the answer? Nobody can possibly know all the answers but by getting heads together, we can figure it out.

Its why we will still be able to drive in Europe even if they say we need IDP/IDL. This is just another issue to add to project fear.

Do you also go by the pseudonym Mr Logic?

Maybe if house prices drop by a third. Which will be great for the 1st time buyers. Maybe fat people due to limited food being available will lose a third of there weight which will be great for the Nations health and the NHS. A No Deal is starting to sound good. Bring it on..

The pressure is being ratcheted up by the Establishment to try and put the frighteners on the public again. Didn't work the first time around so I see no reason for it to succeed this time. There's no doubt it's getting more shrill and hysterical the nearer we get to 'B' day. The media is full of it, with very little able to stand up to any kind of scrutiny.

Calm down dears...it's only a brexit.  ;)

Mind you: Moody's  is speaking about an economic recession.
Based on the postings on this forum, it is clear that the moral recession has already arrived
