Hi,
As a frequent visitor, I would love to keep my badmington going whilst here.
Years ago, I saw they had the court lines marked out at the town sports centre, but no nets.
I have also seen rackets and shuttlecocks for sale.
Anyone know if there any groups or other folk that would be interested
Idealy for over 55's would be great.

Sadly, I`m afraid you are out of luck re badminton in Corralejo and on the island in general! It`s quite popular with youngsters and early teens, with a couple of thriving clubs for juniors in the Gran Tarajal and Tuineje area, but no adult clubs at all. Prior to moving here we played two or three times a week in the UK to a good league standard, and assumed we could keep it going here....but sadly not! We`ve switched partly to tennis, but our passion is now padel - plenty of opportunities to play, and great for integrating with other nationalities. Worth having a go? I`d recommend it!

Thanks for the reply, as I thought, hey ho.
I know of padel, tried it a couple of times, I have to say not good, maybe another try when I am next over.
